We all know that Twitter is widely being used nowadays to spread or share important updates, to make casual talk with friends and virtually meet people, or just to stay up-to-date with the latest news.  It is also being considered as one of the mediums to find great business opportunities.

For blogging, there are a lot of benefits in using Twitter.  Using this free social networking tool can:

(a) widen your market,

(b) provide you a vast array of sources for current and future projects,

(c) get new ideas, and,

(d) help boost your self-confidence in expressing yourself in public.

“Tweeting” is fun.  You can get a lot of tips from people you know, or don’t know personally.  At the same time, by tweeting, you can share to these people what you have to offer.  Got a new blog venture?  Advertise your blog and increase blog readership through Twitter.  Build a relationship with your followers or friends by feeding them constant updates to your latest blog posts.

Many people have testified to the positive results that tweeting has done to their blogs.  But with any other marketing effort, you need to spend time tweeting.  You have to do this diligently for it to be effective.  Not long, you will see a solid result from this.  Others may find tweeting time consuming.  That might be the case.  It’s all about managing your time of course.  I guess one way to do this effectively is to just enjoy doing it.

And oh, before I forget, if your objective is to advertise, introduce your products and make $$$, then please do note that Twitter is one of the essential marketing tools for your blog!

So follow us on Twitter and have fun tweeting… ^_^

  • Hi, Good blog you have here. I wanted to let you all know that I think Twitter is going to be one of the stronger networks because of the fact that it is supported by so many industries. I also think when Twitter shows some of it’s new features, returning traffic will increase to show the real growth of the network.

Anyway, I build a blog that gives away great resources for Twitter that are 100% free, so come and visit and don’t be a stranger.

    Keep up the good work!
