Get Others To Blog Your Products

It’s not enough that others plainly link to your website.  Getting them to blog about your products (or services) is very good as well.  Not only do you get more backlinks out of it, but it will also get your site the needed exposure for more traffic and subcribers (RSS, bookmarks) too.

This method is generally known as a sponsored review.  It has been confirmed through several marketing studies that “word of mouth” is one of the most efficient ways to capture the attention of people or would-be customers, and a well-placed sponsored review does just that.

Just think, at any given day thousands of people read blogs.  Having someone write about your products, or your site in general, is like having your website on the hot seat, but rest assured that they’ve put in a good word for you.  This will generate lots of traffic.  And not just any traffic, this is targeted traffic we are talking about which is all the better for your business niche.

One blog talking about your products is good.  Now having more blogs talk about your products is even better.  So a review from a quality and authoritative site will potentially cause a chain reaction to other blogs talking about your products.  This is known to happen.   Think syndication.  The links from these reviews will increase your link popularity and in turn will make your website rank better in search engines.

In the end, a paid review is a very good way to promote your products or kick-start a website.  You either get many small blogs to do reviews at a lower price, or pay a higher fee to a particular site that is considered an authority on your niche.  That is all up to you.
